During the 2020–21 school year, Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools Systems (SCCPSS) partnered withAmira Learning, an online assessment and reading practice software focused on early literacy. This report examines the association betweenAmira Learningparticipation and student literacy learning across five separate outcomes. Although few students received the full recommended dosage ofAmira Learning, increased usage was associated with stronger literacy development across all outcomes: students with increased participation levels gained more skills. Given that participation rates were below what was expected, these estimates may be interpreted as conservative. The associations were strongest during the fall-to-winter period and less prominent during the winter-to-spring period (except for Kindergarteners, for whom the pattern reversed).
